Bonjour tout le monde, j'ai un cours texte à traduire (une introduction en fait) concernant l'apartheid en Afrique du sud.
Pouvez vous y jeter un œil et me dire si vous voyez des fautes ou si vous avez des remarques/ conseils ?

Merci ! Very Happy

Cape Town is particularly interesting case to study because of his important past history, linked to the segregation and especially to the apartheid. The city is nowadays one of the most populated of South Africa and at the times of his introduction to the capitalism system, social and inequalities issues remains fully pertinent.
Firstly, we will look into the pre-apartheid period, from Cape Colony foundation in 1652, to the apartheid, in 1948. Indeed, it is necessary to understand the past issues of Cape Town, because the segregation starts a long time before the Apartheid in this colony, mainly with the introduction of slave labor.
Secondly, we will focus on how the apartheid affects the city, especially concerning the territory occupation. From 1948, a policy of separated development has been instilled, and the racial statute of people mattered, consequently, the place occupation was the result of this policy, white and colored people clearly live in different places.
The city of Cape Town during the Apartheid is very interesting because there have been several place of opposition like District Six or Sharpeville.

Thirdly, we will focus on Cape Town evolution since the end of apartheid in 1991: the progresses (e.g., political, economic…) concerning relations between colored and non-colored people, but we will demonstrate than theses progresses are very limited. We also will look into the heritage from the past in the city, especially concerning the architecture and space occupation.
To finish, we will ask ourselves if the segregation is actually over, spatially and economically but also in people minds.

Secondly, we will focus on how the apartheid still affects the city, especially concerning the territory occupation. In 1948, a policy of separated development has been instilled, and the racial statute of people mattered, consequently, the geographical(?) occupation was the result of this policy, white and coloured people clearly live in different places.
The history of Cape Town during the Apartheid is very interesting because there have been several places of opposition(fights or ?) like District Six or Sharpeville.
